You said you have a 2009 short block, and also said its F20C. Are you outside the usa?

You will need to change the trigger wheel behind the timing cover. That’s the biggest job.

All other sensors from the 2002 car will be used.

You will also need to limit the RPM to 8400.

f20c block from 2009 is not the same as the block from 2002? Why only 8400 ? All f20c they can handle 9000rpm

Original Poster's user information shows him as being in Czech Republic if he set it up accurately. That would indicate that a 2009 block would be an F20 with 9K redline if his source is Europe. I would expect that the 8400 redline limitation discussed by Billman250 would apply only to F22 blocks sourced from the North American Domestic Market or the Japanese Domestic Market.

Jirka: Billman250 is an S2000 expert. I would imagine that confusion was caused by the fact that it was not clear that you were sourcing in Europe and not in the North American market. I'll let Bill answer your technical questions as he is the master.
