Default Engine tick
Bellman asked me to post a video of a tick I was trying to diagnose. It’s subtle but I’d like to know if this is normal.

The regular, slight ticking noise?

Think that is normal valve noise.

When was the last valve adjustment done?

I checked the valve lashing when I replaced the valve cover gasket, all within spec. I think it’s completely normal, just wanted to make sure.

This is a noisy engine. Lots of clickity clack.

When valves are out of adjustment, dangerously tight, engine much quieter. Quiet = danger.
