I dont hear any noise in particular in your vid.

Whatever you do, dont by a NEW chain tensioner...search TCT.

Hmm so I am hearing that the noise is normal or else I need a new TCT / Valve Adjustment.

I should also add that this video was taken on a cold startup and occasionally my engine will stutter when the RPMS drop down.

What is the worst that can happen if you valves are not adjusted correctly?

There is no sound of a TCT in there, just noisy valves. Our cars have very loud valvetrains. Since I see that your only at 51k miles, you will be fine for right now. You could always still do a valve adjustment that might help a little bit, but wont just get rid of the noise. If your valves were way out of whack, you would probably have a CEL.

Also the shuddering when the RPM's dip low, thats also normal. Almost all of our s2k's do that on occasion, mostly on hot days with the A/C on.

valves. If you dont know how to adjust them yourself bring it to honda. They charged me like $150 to do mine....which isnt all to bad
Plus, getting the adjusted makes the car feel like it just got a boost of new life, in my opinoin...

@suzuka-blue-s2k: Yes! I was just going to say that my engine stutters when I have the AC on, but not when it is off.

@jimnasty23: Thanks for your input. I am going to do a valve adjustment soon anyways just to be on the safe side. I will also have them look at my TCT just in case. $150 is not that bad considering it was done at a stealership.

I also had a stutter problem with an occasional stall(stall was due to a bad 02 sensor). I recently did my valve adjustment and its running like a better then ever, not one stall/stutter for the past 300 miles with about 60k on the odo. Mines was slightly out of spec about .01 -.02 but it made a world of difference. Have you changed your plugs? Those might be due and would help smoothens acceleration and idle in addition to the valve adjustment. It's extremely simple to diy for about 10 dollars, just takes patience. For about another 10-20 dollars for a compression gauge tester if you haven't done so since the purchase.

You could do all this within a few hours, this could all be done during the valve adjustment. Remove spark plugs - compression test, valve adjustment, replace spark plugs with new set.

Sorry but I noticed in the compression test DIY you need to warm up the car before starting whereas for the valve adjustment you have to do it cold. Sounds like I have to do each one separately.
