Default Engine wire/ engine compartment

hey guys,
on the drivers side, there is a red and white wire heavier gauge running from the fire wall toward the headlight, anyone know what it goes to? pix? i havent had my s2k long and need the CEL off for inspection so i can get plates, it pulls a p1415 because my air pump is missing, i have ordered all the parts to replace it but was unsure of if the rred/white wire had any importance also.

*****update*****
another thing i was curious about, mainly after looking at the oil change thread......did the AP1's come with a stock lower cross brace? my car has 1 but i wasnt sure if its stock or an aftermarket one the previous owners bought, and in the front fenders.....there are blue bars....i know they make aftermarket bars for there too but again did they come with anything like this stock from honda?
thanks,
Brandon

the wire/plug is for your air pump solenoid. its located inside the bumper.

correct me if i'm wrong but i think you still need the air pump regardless if you get or dont get a AEM. Something to do with the cat or something.

from what i have heard the aem can turn off the CEL for the air pump....idk, i ordered the pump, hoses, brackes n all theat stuff to go with it bc my car was a kentucky car and was hit in the front so the air pump was aparently just removed because they dont have state inspection there or in that specific place. so yea $608 for all that stuff and like i said i have other wires now that i have no clue what they are for. i already bought the air control solinoid valve because they had a home made air intake on it so they just hacked the wires n pulled that valve and capped off the vac lines. real nice huh?

ok so i think a few things have been figured out:My 2001 S....has a few problems i am in the process of fixing

Bumper removed awaiting air pump

WHERE THE AIR PUMP SHOULD BE?

I think we established this bundle of fun goes to the air pump??

this valve and vac lines were missing also, yes the wires are wire nutted for now untill i confirm they are correct, then they will be fixed perm.

the air control valve that the air pump pumps air to, capped off by morrons, that vac line was also capped but it goes to the valve i replaced

next question....the wire loom right beind the drivers headlight:
i have these black and blue wires coming out going to nothing, anyone have any idea?

thanks everyone
