Yeah I was working on a Hummer back in the day and got spashed with antifreeze.. Not yummy at all.

I personally think the worm gear is done.. I havent tried to take it apart yet because I dont have a tamper proof torx set on hand right now. Im gonna get on the horn with Billman tomorow and try to get a second opinion.

for now...stand that thing up, and soak it with WD40. let it run down inside the rack. I would not waste any time getting that thing to me.

You know, you can easily grab the sides of the bolts with vise grips, they are big enough.

I found a used rack from a board member. The thing is that it is off of a AP2 and my car is a AP1. From what I understand the ratios are different. Are there any other differences that I should be aware of? Feed me your input!! You people have been great thanks for your time.

This might be a dumb question but since I don't have a owners manual for the car I'm going to ask anyways. When you turn the key to the on position. Are the CEL that stay on what I am looking for? My Oil light and engine light stays on and the EPS. When I start the engine they all turn off, but if the key is in the on position those lights are on.
