EPS Codes

My S2000 EPS light is staying on and I cannot figure out why. When shorting pin 4 and 9 together I get the EPS light blinking. Need help figuring out what the blinks mean. I am getting 3 short followed by either 2 long or 3 long. There seems to be a delay between the second and third long blink that is longer than the others
