2004 AP2 s2000

I went in to honda to erase the code,
it was all fine until i hit the highway at
120km/h then the EPS comes on... it
drives fine it has 70% kicking in not fully,
and when i drive locally its fine only at 120km/h

can someone chime in.. ?

i tried
restarting (eps light still on)
took off battery terminal (eps light still on)
plugged and un plugged the plugs on the rack (eps light still on)

can VSS cause it to do this ?
