Default EPS Switch question

I would like to install a switch for the Power steering so that I can turn it on and off whenever I want to drive without it to get some extra involvement (and excercise ;-)) but I need it on for steering. Once I read somewhere somebody installed a switch to it. But I cant find that info.

Does anybody here know about electrics and do i need special cables or a special switch or other more advanced parts? I was thinking just a simple switch from where the Fuse is screwed down. Attach some cables to the screw points where normally the fuse is screwed down, attach the fuse a bit further away on the cable, and then run the cable in the cabin with a switch.

But I know nothing about amps, all i could find is that 70 amps (as thr fuse says) is high and supposedly cant handle a simple switch or simple cables?

Can anybody advice or tell me how to make this? Unscrewing and screwing in the fuse is too much hassle for DD and I need the EPS for city parking.

thanks for all help is welcome!

Are you sure you want to try this, on an S2000? Wouldn't you throw a bunch of error codes?

No codes, I have taken the fuse out before and never got any codes. Just the EPS light on the dash turns on, and when you plug it back in, light turns off. Ap1. So shouldnt be a problem.

I think you're on your own with this one pal.

I can almost guarantee no one on here has ever done this, wanted to, or needed to.

I believe Bob from modifry was one playing with a potentiometer which adjusted how much steering assist the EPS would give you
