Default EPS turns left full lock on it's own

I put my car into a tire wall at Road Atlanta. Right after the accident, I did not have power steering and the EPS light was on. I reset the EPS. Now when I start the car, the EPS will turn left on it's own until full lock. Do any of you know what could be causing it to do this? I checked the EPS fuses, and none are blown.

Wynn,

Sounds like the Torque sensor is messed up. There's a specific procedure to diagnose it. I'll see if I can dig it up.

This is for an AP1, but I'm fairly certain it's the same for AP2's.

Let me know if resetting the neutral position solves it. Otherwise it could be possible that your torque sensor is actually bad now due to the accident. Hard to say though. Hopefully doing the reset of the neutral position will solve your issue.
