Default Exedy clutch not engaging

I just bought a s2000 from florida and just got it today. clutch is not engaging in any of the gears, it will not roll from first. the car won't even stall out when in first when clutch pedal is depressed. the previous owner said the clutch has less then 3000 miles on it. any help would be appreciated.

You bought the car knowingly having this issue? we need more information. You can put the car into gear correct it just wont roll? Sounds like you got the sheet thrown over your head bud I'm thinking a blown diff

i didn't know the car had any problems. the shipper said the seller of the car drove it on to the transport without any problems. when it got here the shipper drove it off the transport. then my friend drove it onto the street out of his lot so i could put on the license plate. he said the clutch engaged really high but he got it out of the lot. then when we were trying to leave the clutch wouldn't engage into first. it would just start rolling back cause it was on a slight hill. the car just revs up but won't engage and roll.

do you think the shipper could have blown the differential driving it off the transport?

you either burned out the clutch entirely in the one day of driving it to a friends lot. Or maybe a throw out bearing. I mean, you can get it into gear, you have pressure in the clutch pedal, and non of the gears work? What about reverse?

Last bet is the Diff, but I mean, for it to just not move, that is a bit ridiculous. You would have had to grind every tooth off the gears.
