Default Exhaust for a SC s2000.

I was wondering what exhaust will benefit a supercharged s2000? I still have the stock header and exhaust with no catalytic.

I know this may seem like the obvious answer...but, the exhaust that's the most free flowing?

The downpipe/exhaust doesn't affect the performance of a supercharger as much as it does for a turbocharger.

Doh. My mistake.

I believe my buddy's dual amuse recently put out +9 rwhp. I'm guessing any N1 straight out pipe will be pretty free flowing also.

If I were you, I'd do a search...

Ultimate Racing makes exhausts that are 3" both dual and single I believe. I don't know of anyone else that makes them that big.

look into having one fabricated yourself...something that runs 3" from the header back.

just my 2 cents

would you be looking to replace the header too? If that was the case, then I would look into getting any of the N1 exhaust systems with a test pipe. If not, I'd look into the fabrication and have someone figure out how to optimize the stock header....

I talked to duc w/ spugen about this. He says he tried out a 3" w/ his vortech and the results were the same as with a 2.5". The only difference was he noticed a little bit of a lag at lower rpms with the 3". So that idea would be no good according to him. Maybe a 3" would benifit a turbo application?? Just get a single outlet exhaust, all of them should be pretty much the same.

Alex, APEX'i WS... That is the one I'm getting. Single outlet will look nasty in your car, you have to go dual like SPUGEN, HKS, or APEX'i.
