F20c1 Wont start

Default F20c1 Wont start

the car started and then didnt want to turn back on. the motor is a fresh rebuild and has turned on before but TCT made noise and now after a replaced timing chain and TCT the car doesnt want to turn back on. it trys to fire but nothing. If anyone has any idea and let me know..

Anyone else see the irony in your screen name?

If it started fine before you replaced the timing chain then you put the chain on wrong. Recheck the timing marks, most likely one of the cams is out of time.

ya i noticed the name also kinda ironic.... but i also say re-do the timeing marks. something has to be off....

If there is compression and the fuel and spark are anywhere near properly timed, it will start.

my sr20det in my 240sx wouldn't run for shit for 5 months. Turned out i was setting the timing wrong. i fixed it and it fired right up.

It's the timing signal from the Crankshaft position sensor. The ECU can't get the reading, doesn't know where the Crank is, and thus can't time the spark right. Recheck the Crankshaft position sensor, it may've been damaged, recheck the connector.

AND WE ALL LEARN A THING OR TWO. SO I SWAPPED A Crank position and yeah it fired. and the timing has been checked over along with valve lash twice. A F20 isnt a Sr smart guy. I only really do Sr Ka and some Rbs So Honda is something fairly new. pretty Ironic right when IM sure half of you guys havent even touched the insides of yours cars. build it youself pussy
