Fenders got messed up...
Watup guys
Long story short, I slammed my car on tein flex's, put bigger rims on (18x8+50) in the front, and didn't roll my fenders. Now both of my front fenders got messed up and bent at one point and the paint eventually started peeling. I went to a very reputable body shop near my area that is going to charge me $500 to fix the bends and repainting that one part and "blending" the paint to the rest of the fender instead of repainting the whole fender.
I have two concerns:
1) Has anyone had a similar "blending" procedure done to their paint, and if so, does it look good so that you can't really notice?
2) Is that price fair?
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

In my experience in body repair, blending is a great and cost effective way to go if the area is small enough...pictures would help.
If its a reputable shop and they recommended this procedure(cost aside),than I would go for it.
As for cost, every shop is different and again pictures would help.

About 3 months ago some lady hit the front end of my car. she trash my front bumper and put a small bent in the driver side fender. When i took it to the dealer they told me that they would fix the fender and replace the bumper and do some blending for the paint.
When they told me this i had the same fear as you do. But when i got the car back it look great i could not even tell my car was hit they blended the paint on the hood and both fender cause of paint chips they found. the color match really well. BTW I have a Silverstone S.
About the price i dont know all i can tell you is that the total repair cost came out to 2,350.
