Default A few hours with the rear end.......

I am not exactly sure where to put this, so I figured this section would work.
I am not going to go into lots of boring details, but lets just say, it was a fun
few hours with a couple good friends.

Got to say thanks to DavGoat, or this would not have heppened.
So here you go, a few pics of me and a friend swapping out an AP1 to AP2
rear diff. And also a quick polish job on the exhaust......

I totally destroyed the AP1 and the only thing I could find to replace was the AP2. I am not technical enough to do any type of gearing changes, I just wanted to drive my car again.

Only thing different from the two (that I noticed) was the drive shaft flanges. The AP2 has bigger holes from the AP1 bolts, so I had to swp the 2 over. Other than that, it was a pretty easy swap.

Once I get the AP1 cracked open, I will take pics and post up the damaged insides.
I am actually looking forward to seeing what actually happened.
