Craftsman My 0-75 ft-lb is the non-spring torsion type. My 50-250 ft-lb wrench is made by Husky, which I was told was a sister company of Snap-On

Where do you get this done? How much does it cost?
Sear will do theirs, Snap Ontheirs, but there may be someone local to you that can do just as good a job & get it back to you quicker. I do know that SnapOn will sometimes give you a loaner.

This company actually makes the wrenches that Snap-on sells. If you order them direct from them, they are cheaper and they also offer many more products.

No wonder they cost as much as Snap-On.

Since I'm a student, I found out that I can get Snap-On at list price; I might go this route.

Thanks for all the replies guys.

They start at around $200+ new. I've seen used one's on ebay sell for around $100. If I was to get one off ebay, I would send it back to Snap-On right away to have it re-certified.

Which company makes the most reliable and precise torque wrench?

The only company I've come across that provides NIST certification with their torque wrench is $nap-on.
old thread, I know:

We use the CDIs pictured below, a lot of the Snap-On non electronic are are actually Precision Instruments another great brand. Beyond that would only trust Stahlwille
