Default First problem with the car...

No CEL, no other symptoms. 2001 with about 61000 miles on it.

When I pull away from a junction, without gunning it, just gently letting the clutch out and applying gas, it wants to stall. I immediately pop the clutch and rev it, and then it's fine until the next time. This has been happening for a few days.

Today, for the first time, it had what felt like a misfire. A total loss of power, lmost like fuel cutoff for a few miliseconds. Again, pop clutch, rev, and it's ok for a couple more miles, then it'll do it again. If I drive it really relaxed, always under 4000rpm, no problems are apparent. When I go through 4-5500 rpm, accelerating or decelerating, it sometimes misses a beat. No mods at all.

Suggestions?

Sounds like a bad MAP. You can try the MAP whack or unplug/replug and use a zip tie to help hold it in place or you can buy a new MAP which will have the zip tie included.

Thanks negcamber, I'll try the MAP whack and ECU reset and see what happens.

Map whack and ECU reset worked. So far so good.
