Default Floor Jack

Hey everybody. Intermediately-experienced gearhead here. I've spent several hours of research trying to find a good floor jack (and possibly a set of stands) to lift my AP2. I really want to be able to get all 4 wheels off.

Has anyone bought a floor jack in the last year or two that
(1) seems safe and reliable
(2) can lift high enough to get stands under the side jacking points (my current, old jack cannot. It lifts to 13")
(3) fits under the S2k front center jacking point (even on 2x10 pads)
(4) costs less than $300
(5) (optional) weighs less than 60lb

I've pored over Harbor Freight, Amazon and a handful of other sites trying to get an idea of what's out there. From what I can tell, everything falls into these categories:
- Aluminum, low-profile, will probably fall apart in a year, $80-150
- Steel, 6"+ tall chassis, weigh more than my AP2, mixed reviews, $80-150
- Industrial grade race jacks, $300+

I'll admit: I have not yet gone into a physical store. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place? I live in the Atlanta, GA (US) area.

Thanks!

I got one of the cheap aluminum "racing jacks" at Harbor Freight a couple of years ago. It has held up great. I'm probably gonna buy a second one just like it.

Picked mine up from Costco a few months ago, looks similar other one but now it is made of aluminum and steel. Twin piston, 2.5 tons. Well made, good wheels and it casters nice. $99.
If you jack up the S from front and center it will not quite reach the jack point but all you do is drive up on pieces of 2X6 for each front tire and that is enough to get it under completely. (Leave them there when you lower from the same point of course) I think the lift is about 21"

Would buy it again.

OK, that's good to hear... it was on Harbor Freight that I saw some negative reviews.

Thanks!

I've been using this jack from harbor freight: http://m.harborfreight.com/2-ton-low...not%20provided

Super low. Super long reach. Quick pump. Reliable.

All my friends have loved it.
