You can find the specs on the Omega 29023 lift here.

It looks like it will go all the way to the front central lift point without assistance.
I have an Omega and it goes right to the center lift point in the front and the diff in the rear. it works great but it is very heavy as noted.

I bought the low profile aluminum at Costco. $99.00 and so far I love it. It looks just like the Harbor Freight one listed above except it is all silver and has a bumper pad.

Do you still like this jack? Will it reach the front jacking point without pre-jacking?
Yes, I still love the jack, even though I sold the S. It works great on my wife's Grand Marquis because it has a long front end, too. I thought of selling the jack when I sold the car, but it's too handy with other cars.

It does reach the jacking point without "pre-jacking." Sounds a little dangerous when you say it that way.

has anyone bought those jakcs they sell at costco before....?

Peace
I've had the Costco jack for about 1.5 yrs now and it still works great. It does squeak alot and is a bit disconcerting at first, but I've never had any problems. Get some lubricant and use it on the pivot points and the squeaks are reduced, but it never goes away.

I have gone through two of these craftsman jacks. Both developed fluid leaks.

I had the HF one. Got rid of it after I got it replaced under warranty because the front wheel keep on jamming. Got the Costco one and couldn't be happier.

I have the 2 ton HF jack. It lifts just fine but doesnt seem to jack very fast. Probably have a bit of a leak but haven't bothered to try to figure out how to fix it/take it back to HF to get replaced.

I have the jack shown from Harbour freight. It is a really nice jack, and really light *but* it will NOT fit under a lowered s2k.

On the front sides... no way. The rear sides, you can lift up by the fender a little, and it'll slide under. You can get it under the rear for the rear diff as long as you have no rear lip, and I dont think it'll fit under the front with or w/o a lip.

It sounds like the Omega is the way to go for a jack that will just be used in the garage. Thanks for all the info guys.
