im running a 2002 comptech s/c a/c with comtech exhaust i bought it used like that with 13,000 miles the problem is when i put the pedal to the floor the car is feeling like its getting no gas or anything until i hit vtec whats the deal with that?

 

Supercharger only starts making significant gains after 6k rpms.

Hard to tell by your description whether you have a real problem or you just think the car is slow...

what car are you coming from?? and maybe the engine is bogging from heat? you need to describe the driving conditions first if you want useful feedback.

 

i really dont know i think there is something seriously wrong with it because if i put the pedal to the floor it seems like it stops giving it fuel but when i put the pedal only a little of the ways down it will go a little better. I used to have a 2002 civic ex slow. so basically i put the pedal to the floor and get nothing even after letting it worm up

 

once the car hits like 4800 rpm it dies then kicks in at like 6 and a half

 

any aftermarket tuning units installed?

 

Get it tuned.

 

check your throttle cable for slack.it should only have a 1/4 inch of play.

BTW if you're running the stock comptech then it is kinda slow...been in one and it felt much slower then my stock Vortech.

 

but it still shouldn't die at 4800rpm
