Hi all,

I'm trying to figure out exactly how a flow bench works. I am looking for more detail than the obviouse. Do people perform low pressure flow test (measureing flow at differnt lifts) and are they able to charicterize the low vacume flow under high vacume states? If this is how it is done, what kind of governing equations do they use and how do they derive them? Or do flow benches work in an point fassion, by drawing different vacume pressures corrisponding to different flow rates at different valve lifts (similar vacumes that would be seen under normal operating ranges).

Thanks,

Walz
