yes I did read the fluids and there was a lot of peple that mentioned different fluids.

well now I wanna make this clear since im going to change all the fluids at once....

Im not gonna drag my car, its just a daily driving car and some times get on it. 2002 S2000 (( the 9000RPM style LOOOL ))


Engine OIL brand ?? Ill go 10w30

filter I got it (( stock honda filter )) OEM PCX-004

Tranny fluid ?? Honda MTF-2 is this for sure good for me ?

Diff fluid ? Mobil 1 75w-90 yes/no ?

Yes those are good fluids.

 

I use royal purple for everything, even the oil filter

 

royal purple for tranny, engine and diff ? do they have specific numbers ? or you just go to local kragen or auto and ask for royal for honda ? LOL

 

Don't forgot bleeding brake fluid, bleeding clutch, and flushing coolant too while your at it.

 

changing fluids can always be made into an entire day lol

 

...and how is this thread going to be any different? A lot of people will mention different fluids here as well. I use Amsoil all around with a PCX filter but there are plenty of good fluid options.

There will never be a "definitive" fluids thread no matter how many such threads people create. We already have Honda, Mobil 1, RP and Amsoil mentioned and this thread just started. None of the suggestions are going to be new ones.

well, the reasons I opened this was just to see what are the bad fluids that some people might of been using. but it seems like no matter what brand you use as far as what has been mentioned above then It should be good to go.

yes I need to bleed the brake fluids, clutch and coolant as well, what kind of fluids as far as those now ? LOL
