Default Fluttering sound (can hear when passing by objects)

Hello,
First off, I apologize if this is some sort of known issue/sound. I did not know how to search for it, cause I am having enough trouble trying to describe it.

Basically, I can hear a slight flutter type of sound, particularly when I pass by other cars or fences that I can hear my car echo off of.
It sort of sounds similar to if you were to roll your tongue and blow air. Not sure how to better describe the sound I am hearing.

I am not sure if this is a normal sound and I am just being anal, or if there could be something off. It is most noticeable when my car is decelerating in gear, under 4k rpm or so.
I am thinking of doing a valve adjustment soon to see if that makes any difference. The car is a 2001 with 41k miles.

Thanks for the help!

Is this noise more apparent with the roof up or down?

Turbo blow off! (kidding)

Sounds like something could be flapping in the wind? Loose top?

Hm, again hard to describe. Maybe I will try and take a video later.

It is definitely engine-related, it almost sounds similar to an exhaust leak or something- it changes with RPM.

Car runs perfectly smoothly, it just sounds slightly ...fluttery at low rpm and off the throttle.

I have a hardtop and can hear it with windows up, but it is most apparent when windows are down and passing by a wall or other object.

Okay, drove my car around again and have a better description.

It is almost a sound similar to that of one having an offset header. Not that drastic, but for lack of a better description.

It occurs when NOT moving also. If I rev the car up to ~3k, I can hear it.

Again, I suspect this could be normal and my ear is just being extra-picky.

Regarding the TCT, I watched a couple video sound clips of it and that does not seem to be it. It is not evident at idle.

I've had the same sound since I bought the car. Going under tunnels and near objects. It's more apparent for me when in 3rd gear at lower rpms just cruising . Sounds like a small propeller or something like a small exhaust leak in the header . I've also like u just assume it's normal.

Since it seems loudest at 3k Rs --- prolly exhaust resonance? What if you change gears, when you hear the noise? Does it change pitch?

Yeah, I have this sort of sound too. I've looked for an exhaust leak but wasn't able to find anything.
