Hey guys, was detailing the engine bay for the first time since I got the car a few months ago ... and noticed 8 Schosche (sp?) cables coming off the negative (black) terminal on the battery. I followed each cable and they all grounded somewhere different (body, engine block, etc) ... do these cables actually serve a purpose? Aside from that the car is completely stock (no audio upgrades, nothing) ...

but seriously they're just grounding cables. they help a lil bit.
