Default founds these floating in both doors

well i heard something rattle when i closed my passenger side door the one day so i figured something was loose and i'd get it someday. well i was driving down the highway about 3 weeks later and i put my(drivers side) window down about half way..and when i put it back up like 2 miles down the road i hear this thing drop into the door...so today i took the door panels off and found one of these in each door. i've looked in the service manual i have at the diagrams of the window assembly and i just don't know where the hell this thing came from and where to put it back...both windows seem to work just fine without these so i dunno.

Looks like a fake mustache stuck to a piece from your door!

They are door glass brushes that attach to the upper door frame

i could be wrong, but it might be a good idea to replace them. I believe their purpose is to sort of ease the window into place as it comes to either the full close or open stages??

or am I wrong? I have been many times before
