Sorry. I've never done a front main seal on a Honda S2000.

Only BMW and Mercedes. The engine is much closer to the radiator, I guess.

I'm just concerned about the tight working space leaning over the engine bay to get a straight shot at the main seal. I'm willing to try it but at this point I feel like I'm going to have to go all the way and remove the oil pan plus timing cover to rule every possible leak out.

I remember doing these seal jobs under my BMWs (hoist and jack stands). So much easier on the back.

@RolanTHUNDER which impact gun did you use? Not with that Milwaukee 1400 ft-lb impact gun right?

That one. I had to use an adapter since the Milwaukee gun I borrowed from a friend was a 3/4" and my Lisle socket is a 1/2". That may have reduced torque transfer considerably.
