Front Suspension Bush Replacement
Hi
A couple of days ago I was surfing this forum reading all the posts on how to sort out replacement of front castor/compliance bush without resorting to spending 400 per arm from a thieving Honda dealer. I read somewhere that someone had got a pair of arms for about 300 but didnt write down where from. Typically I cant find this post now when searching. Can anyone help?
Getting pretty critical now. Car failed its MOT on Monday and is now off the road. Only have 8 days for a free MOT retest and Spoon do not have any bushes in stock!

Does anyone know what else I will need to buy? I think I am going to get a suspension arm from Lings (as suggested by someone on the board) as it half the price of my local friendly Honda dealer for a genuine part. Assuming I will only need the arm and the front and rear bush bolts. Can anyone think of anything else? Dont want to have the car in bits at the garage and find I have missed something important !
Use lots of WD40 or simular on the swaybar endlinks nuts.
Remove all the rust from the thread sticking out before attempting to remove the nut.
Use a good metric allen key to hold the thread (bolt) IOW: one that fits perfectly and CLEAN!!! the allen key hole, use a good box wrench for the nut.
Or get new endlinks = expensive!
New cotter pins (should be in stock in every garage)
WD40 also goes for the lower ball joint nut.
Snap it, don't turn graduatly, snap it!
I hope you get all bolts out of their bushings.
Good luck
