Default ft. lb torque conversion

Any idea where to get an in-lb torque wrench? Tried Home Depot, OSH, Sears....no luck. Sooooo....

180 in-lb of torque= how much ft-lb torque?

Divide by 12. As in 12 inches to a foot.

120 in-lb = 10 ft-lb.

180 in-lb = 15 ft-lb.

Snap on makes some nice (but pricey) 3/8" drive torque wrenches calibrated in in-lbs.

Warning:

Low torque bolts (like 15 ft-lbs) can easily be stripped by a large out of calibration torque wrench. It's also sometimes hard to feel the click at low torque settings. Don't overly "trust" the wrench. That is one hell of a large breaker bar for a very small torque setting.
