maybe you were thinking of the fuel pump, which is in the tank.

Well, i took the car to the mech, he half-opened the soft top, removed the cover where the soft top seats, reached the tank, unscrwd and removed the filter which is combinated with the pump, remove the pump, put it together with the new filter, than put everything back on. Do all these again when changing the pump aswell.

There is a filter "sock" on the pump inlet. There is no inline fuel filter that has a reccomended replacement interval.

Accessing the pump and filter is a little more difficult than just a few screws.

Anyone who has put a new pump in for SC kit or turbo can attest to that.

What he said.

BTW, one of the first mods/GBs I saw on this or the earlier board was a FPR. Heaps of guys bought it, installed it, fiddled with it and decided it was a waste of time.

They only have one adjustment and that is base pressure so when you consider we have 9000 rpm range just tweaking the base pressure doesn't make much sense.

The V-AFC can be used for mild tuning in open loop (such as high load WOT which is when you would want it) but it's still a toy.

Yep, at least as well as it does with the stock ECU, which isn't very well.
