I think you hit the nail on the head. I went thru the helm and my IAC failed the tests.

It was real easy to do, only took 15 minutes this morning.

I have had similar problems. I installed the Comptech air filter yesterday and it's a whole new ballgame. I could tell the difference right away. No kidding!! It idled better, no stall and overall performance is a hell of a lot better. This may or may not be your problem, but checking the air filter is worth a shot.

To do the IAC test you have to remove the whole intake tubing to get at the TB. Idling w/o air filter and intake tubing and touching nothing my car still had trouble and stalled a couple times.

I have been having idle problems also. When sitting if I rev the engine up from idle and then stop, the RPMs fall down below idle, the car shakes a bit, then the RPMs recover to normal idle. This happens everytime you come to a stop (or just rev the engine) and it is very annoying. The local Honda mechanic has no idea why it does this.

Interesting. The only time I've ever had a problem with stalling is _after_ an ECU reset. At the first one or two stops after the reset, the car will stall as you declutch and let the revs fall. After that it seems to adapt. The next couple stops it stumbles a bit, and then after about 10 minutes of driving its fine again.

I do have mods (Mugen header/JR filter), but I found the behavior strange nonetheless.

One more possibly related data point. Keep us posted people.

the test doesn't involve touching the IAC.
