What gernby said.

Lower (numerically higher) gearing is generally good for improved zero-to xx mph times, but not necessarily good for xx-yy mph times!

At autoX, the track, or from a roll, it will depend on what speed you're accelerating from. "Better" diff gearing may well make you slower since you may have to be in the next transmission gear vs stock diff gearing.

I am assuming if you are supercharged or turbo charged you would all suggest leaving the gears alone? What do you guys think?

Do you have any trouble maintaining traction in 1st gear? If so, then stock gears are definitely better.

Aren't the 4.44's much weaker than the 4.57's? I remember something about them being designed for a much less powerful car, but the 4.57's were designed from the beginning for the S2000.

I think 4.44 is the best. Fits perfectly, unlike others and is gives good balance between acceleration and daily driving.
