General maintenance questions
My car is now 5 years old with about 85,000 miles, I am getting some stuff done but have a few questions:
1. Do you know if the spark plugs from H-And-A accessories come pre-gapped? The plugs in the engine now are from the last recall back in 2002.
2. The belt on the engine is looking a little... old, is it about time?
3. Timing chain, is it 100,000 miles or am I over-due?
The rest of the car is in good shape, well, mechanically wise. I replace both MTF and rear differential fluid regularly every other oil change with Honda stuff, and the engine oil had always been mobil1 since the 1st batch from factory until about 12,000 miles ago when I switched to AMSOIL. Radiator's been flushed about 3 times... and what else... I think thats about it. Is there anything else I missed?

All answers IMO....
#1 - Any pre-gapped spark plug should be checked and set to spec'd gap before installation.
#2 - The belt? If you think its time, change it.
I do not recall any cheduled belt changing from my manual.
#3 - IIRC the timing chain stays in for life.
Maybe when you rebuild your engine one could decide to change.
Have a read in the stickies on top of UTH.
There are lots of posts about maintenace, the "not in the manual stuff" etc...
