9k is way over price for the damage in that picture you must have way more damage

to buy all the parts you would need to repair that for Honda would be around 2000 max (most of the coast is headlight) and to paint that area should not cost more the 1k

Check your regional subforum for body shop recommendations. Dealer versus non dealer doesn't guarantee anything. Some dealers have good body shops. Some do not. Never assume.

You can specify whether or not aftermarket parts are acceptable whether you use a dealer or not.

Again, dealer is not a guarantee. Some dealer body shops BS. Some do not. Do not make any assumptions.

The body stuff (bumper fender ect) shouldn't be that hard to get replaced. What you have to worry about is if the steering and suspension is messed up. That is what is going to be the hard part to get repaired.

Don't let the pic fool you. I didn't post the whole pic. It's both my headlights, front bumper, lip, hood, frame support, drivers fenders, drivers mirror, drivers door, repair rim, and drivers quarter panel. Plus misc labor like suspension/paint/glass window etc.

take the money and fix it yourself. lol...

your damage doesnt seem too bad. front bumper, front support beam, the support that holds the bumper, maybe new fender liner if its messed up bad, ap2 head lights, ap2 new bumper, new fender. but you can only buy fenders as pair's and its 700. ): might as well buy cf fenders and not paint them lol.

you can keep a decent amount of money if you do it right!

They took it today to get estimates. Over the phone the claim adjuster said it sounded like a total loss, if so I am buying it back and parting it out than buying another S2K.
