Ok so I'm getting ready to have my Greddy Spectrum Elite dual exhaust installed on my AP2...I've ordered some new rubber hangers (including an AP1 hanger) but I still have no confirmation on which side to use the AP1 rubber hanger (or both?)

anyone have any experience with the install and the use of AP1 rubber hangers?

Just the 2 rear 3-hole hangers

care to clarify what you mean by the 2 rear? do you mean the rear hangers as in towards the back of the car or the hangers closest to teh front of the car


and looking at the schematic for an AP1 they don't use 3 hole hangers...those are AP2 hangers

actually just spoke to Tommy at Go Tuning and he says yo need the single hole ones off the AP1 on both sides

 

may sound stupid but why do you need to swap the hangers for the ap2? simply cause they wont fit?

 

the AP2 hangers closest to the tip of the exhaust have 3 holes (1 to go on the hanger on the car and 2 for the hangers on the OEM exhuaust)...I think they also hang a little lover than the AP1 hangers

the AP1 hangers closest to the tip of the exhaust have only 2 hole (one to go on the hanger on the car and one for the hanger on the exhaust)...since most aftermarket exhaust only use one hanger as opposed to 2 it even makes more sense that the AP1 hangers should be used
