Ayygo, my just purchased 02 with 90k looked like your's with oak leaves. Was original filter.

I feel dumb knowing how fast these filters get dirty, I spent $28 on a Bosch one with activated carbon.

I have 188xxx miles on mine, bought it at 90k and I have never changed it. I wonder if the original owner ever did... ordering one from Honda now so I'll be posting pics of it if its worse


its one of those things that you think "yeah I should change that" and then you forget and it never gets done haha

Reminds me of the 05 civic cabin filter I help change for sister n law. Yup, that's dust an grim mixing together that layered the filter

This is from the one owner 03 S2K I bought from the Chevy dealership. It was a trade on a new Vette. The poor bird had made a home on top of the cabin air filter!
