Could be bad valves or guides which doesn't show up in compression test. You can have bad leakdown results with good compression. Usually an experienced mechanic will use the leakdown results to point you in the right direction of the bad parts.

BTW I just got home from being in Windsor, usually there every 2 weeks.

I believe they are experienced mechanics, but ring sealing is not a easy fix though...

Thanks for the reply!

Did they try oil down the bores to see if it was better?
or put a scope down to have a look around piston crown ?
Doubt rings have gummed up
burn much oil ?

Not sure if they did...

The car burns 100ml of oil every 18000mile, which is normal for a f20c, right?

^ this, I think your issues are in the valvetrain, this would be an easy check before you go further.

I had a compression test and a leak down test done at a local shop right after valve adjustment

Would recheck for sure

The valve adjustment is also done by the same mechanic, since I don't have a garage to work on my car right now

Maybe I will have them to check it again later...
