Default Had a problem starting the S yesterday!

HEY GUYS
I havent started the S in 1 week and I went to go start it yesterday and it almost stalled out twice. its a 2000 with 18k on her. It was 40 degrees so it WAS COLD and I had 1/2 tank of 93 octane. It started the RPMs dropped 2 or 3 times and them it finnaly idled smoothly.
ITS BONE STOCK too
Any idea why it did that?
thanks all

Mine did this early this morning too. Its the first cold day of the year so Im guessing it was temperature related. Glad to know Im not the only one.

Give it a week or two of straight cold temperatures and it will start up smoother. Some have suggested swapping the battery for a yellow top or similar batteries as the stock one is kinda enemic.

The s2k's ecu always gets a little funky when the weather changes. After a few cold morning starts it'll get the idea. Just let it stall though, don't give it gas or it won't learn correctly.

AH OK
Thanks, I was thinking it had something to do with a cel light blinking at me. Ever since I took the top off my airbox, then put it back on...the light wont go away. guess it wasnt that then

I live in san antonio and this happened to me also when the first cold front (when i say cold i mean 57 degrees out) hit us. The s2000 had adjusted to the hot climate and was running great. I go out and try to start it and it sounded like a dirt bike slowly starting up. I have a invidia test pipe, invidia exhaust, kandN drop in. It started after a long crank and then it was fine. It did this with less severe symptoms 2 days later. This week it starts up fine, and now the ecu has learned. It seems like it wouldnt be normal, but this car is just like that.
