If you never removed the nut then no need to replace it. Just add more torque to it, 110lbs total. If you are at 94 now just add 16 more foot pounds

110 lbs is pretty speculative depending on how tight they may have tightened it previously, because the washer has been crushed correct?

Would it be better to tighten it until it spins relatively freely still with some slight resistance?
