Okay so I've gone to 2 different shops and they couldn't tell me anything. I have a 2000 s2k and under normal conditions the car drives fine, but when I hammer the throttle I get major hesitation/misfire. In 1st gear the car dies completely pretty much until I get off the throttle. All the other gears I have bad hesitation and it's all around 5k rpm. I cleaned my throttle body, did the "MAP Whack" I replaced the plugs and I just can't pin down the problem. At idle it stays steady at 1k and every now and then u can hear it misfire a tad. If anyone has had a similar thing happen please let me know. I think it may be a coil pack but like I said at idle it doesn't feel like a bad coil, it's only when I'm under full throttle

 

Check coils, and injectors?

The posts I've seen didn't entirely match my situation. Normal daily driving my car is fine and my idle is fine as well. Sorry if I posted an old topic tho

Check the vtec spring switch, it can bind. To do this remove the top part of the solenoid and push down on the spring.
