Default Hard top installation

Having yet to see one of the Hard Tops for the stook in person, I have a question:

Do you have to completely remove the soft top, or does the hard top install over the folded soft top?

In other words, if you take it off and go out for a drive, if it starts to rain are you going for a swim?

Soft top stays folded down when the hard top is on. You have full use of the soft top when you take the hard top off. If you want to come to Hawaii, I'll show you my car

AgS2K, go to H and A accessories and look at the install instructions. That will give you an idea of what you lose and what you don

Rstark, that's a tempting offer, but I can just imagine the conversation with my wife:

"But Huuuuuuneeeeeyyyyyyy, tickets to Hawaii are a small price to pay to see the hard top!!"

Nice to know you don't lose the soft top!

I find myself in a catch-22: I'd like a hard top for winter protection, but I don't have a garage to store it in. Then again, if I had a garage, I wouldn't need the hard top for winter protection! Doh!

I though about that too, but decided not to, in case if you're out on the road with no top and it suddenly starts to rain (very common here).

Thank you for the information rstark. I guess it would be kinda silly for you to have a rear window defroster in Hawaii. Kinda like snow ski
