i'm having a really hard time with 6th gear, most of the time i have to really pull back just to get it in gear and you can feel it grinding or getting stuck in something. Also, sometimes its just perfect and slides right into gear. any suggestion on whats wrong.

Most likely cause is a damaged 6th gear synchro, changing the fluid is the only option you have without tearing into the transmission.
