Alright I have the flywheel on the clutch on the head on. What other pieces can I put onto the shortblock before I dump it back into the car that will save some time in the long run?
Has anyone ever put the intake on and then put it back in and just hooked all of the wires/hoses up?
does anyone have a writeup on a motor reinstall, search has been down all day?

you might want to attach the engine harness as well and the heater hoses on the block side, its a tight fit on the drivers side and a lot of the instalation time comes from wiggling around and connecting hoses/wires.

Yea. I'm doing it in my single car garage. I hardly have enough room to walk around the car when its in there. Motor is back in, getting the damned thing to sit on the mounts properly was a pain in the ass. I plan on putting the tranny on tonight sometime. I hate trying to move the harnesses around in there. They never seem to be in the right spot. I also hope I got all of the coolant hoses hooked up in the proper spots.

Everything, including the upper and lower radiator hoses, and the wiring harness.

If you want to do it easy and fast that is

Be VERY careful when hooking up small coolant lines and hoses. The will easily reach, and fit in the wrong spot, and send coolant into the intake.
