Default Having trouble going into first & reverse

So over the pasf couple days I changed out the differential fluid, transmission fluid, and bleed the clutch fluid today with still the same problem. It's not every time i shift into these two gears but it happens every once in a while. I've seen multiple threads on this topic but no solution. Any ideas on what I should go about doing next?

Try greasing the shifter.

..and when that improves the silkiness of all your shifts, but does nothing for getting into first and reverse, try adjusting your clutch pedal rod. Under the dash. 12mm open end wrench. Adjust so it just starts to push I'm plunger on back of MC.

Last time we had this problem on the wife's S2K was the MC cylinder. Cost around $100 for the part.

Yeah thinking it's the MC, when I get it replaced I'll update the thread.

If you replace the master, replace the slave at the same time. It'll be the next thing to go within a short time frame.

I've had this issue for years.

New clutch
New MC
New fluid
Re-greased shifter (not applicable but as someone suggested it...)

Only thing I haven't replaced is the slave...

Clutch rod adjustment and clean air free clutch fluid is key.

Number of shifters I have greased over the last 13 years is still zero.

I noticed when the clutch was brand new it would go into first and reverse much easier, but after break in it went back to not going in. Would this suggest there is too much free play or not enough?
