The Head Gasket Is In!
For all those that are curious, I just received my copper head gasket from Speedcraft, it will be installed on monday. It is 0.093" thick, and made of copper. I will put some pics online for those that are interested.
I will be doing a test to see what the compression is before and after the head gasket also...

The goal being to run 8psi more safely with 93 octane. There is potential with proper fuel tuning and ignition timing that 10 psi is possible.. more on tuesday!!
It's going in to the shop for a couple days for extensive tuning and dyno'ing..

The shop said that their time estimator program said it takes 8 hours but they think they can do it faster than that. I think it's a conservative time estimate. They are going to be doing a bunch more work (tuning, as indicated above) so it will be in for a couple days.... I intend to beat Speedcraft's tuning numbers ( I KNOW this can be done since my initial tuning was a little off, Speedcraft mentioned to me that at the time their O2 sensor was off) while making it more reliable. I will also be adding an oil cooler which will be routed through the c/f brake ducts I have (now tire ducts - joke - since my tires are so wide)
