Back story:

Air stuck on cold no matter if knob is turned on hot.

Checked the cable - connected.
Checked fuse 21 in footwell - fine
Checked connection from heater controls to motor that controls the cable into engine bay - all connected

Did the self diagnostic and it illuminates for 2 seconds and then flashes once and repeats to flash every second or so, this continues until I turn of the ignition. The light just blinks and blinks

Any insight as to what to check now?
