Default heeelp please

I have a ap1. Just got the head refurbished due to 4th cylinder dead bc of piston ring. So they said they refurbished the head and put in new retainers and springs. TPS was changed also. So i got it back and its throwing black smoke from the exhaust pretty bad also it idles super low and turns off. I looked under the hood they didnt connect a small vacuum hose and the tTPS was loose. I connected the hose and tightened the TPS buut from what i know its supposed to be set at 0.30 and WOT 4.5. Well i get it 0.30 but it only goes 4.30 WOT. and its still smoking. Any help would be soooo appreciated

4.5 WOT
.3 Idle
Were the cylinder walls honed to give the pistons rings something to grind on and seat to?

Edit: Updated incorrect idle spec.

I think that's actually wrong.... Billman has responded a few times with the numbers but I can't seem to find the threads.

.3 volts idle, most cars it's .5 IIRC

Also what exactly did they do to fix cylinder 4? Did they remove the piston and install new rings? Or was the work limited to the head? Things in the head that can cause smoking are, worn seals, worn guides, mis-adjusted valve clearance. The rings on these cars are really good, it's rare that they wear out, what's the mileage on your car?

Sounds like you need a new primary o2 sensor.

Where is it located and do you think it went out when i was driving it with a dead cylinder i just drove it like 8 miles. And would that sensor cause extra fuel consumption
