none of these really help me.. not meaning that rude to any of you.. I just purchased an 06 s2 and mine almost aim straight down.. They wont reach the top of the rear bumper of my moms cadillac 5 yards in front of me. Whoever owned this before me either wanted to screw me hardcore or maybe the headlights are supposed to be this way.. Will someone please tell me how i can raise my headlights.
Cut a coil off your rear spring. Or maybe follow the instructions posted on pg 1 and 2?

adjusted my headlights today. dont need screw driver, its 100 times easier to rotate that wheel with your hand. there is plenty of space even for big hands. My buddy has a shop and non of his screw drivers fitted good enough to rotate that wheel....

I have my front end a little lower than normal and I have this problem too. When I'm on the highway, on the left half of my lane I can only see about 1 second ahead of me. Mine needed to be adjusted. But just like Billman250 shows in his amazing drawing, the lights are the same level, just the left side of both lights is cut off lower than the right. So adjust them equally for the best results. You can't make them a level straight line, its just the way its made... you would need to replace the whole thing.

The adjustments are hard to see but I took these pictures of the right headlight on my 05, the best I could. The Left side is even harder to see, but the adjustment is through the same hole.

I ran to the hardware store and picked up an 8 inch long screwdriver ($5). Twisting the screwdriver CLOCKWISE will RAISE the light, and COUNTERCLOCKWISE will LOWER the light.

Count your rotations and match both lights to the same level and remember, a small adjustment makes a big difference in the amount of distance you can see while driving.

Some of this stuff has already been mentioned, so thx everyone for helping me figure it out.

The headlight pattern of each headlight ______/------- is built into the headlight housing itself. Not the bulb.

New s2k ap2 owner here. I thought my headlights were out of alignment UNTIL I FOUND THIS THREAD. Everytime I pull up to my closed garage door I see that pattern, that to the "untrained eye" appears to be off. Thanks for this post and all the instructions....now I have NOTHING TO DO.... mine are perfectly adjusted....

Rotate the white adjustment knob counterclockwise to raise the headlight beams, clockwise rotation will lower them.

Yes, the adjustment knob equates to only a very small change in the headlight projection, it will take approximately 5-10 individual clicks before you start to see any noticeable shift in the beam pattern on your wall or cardboard.
