HELP! CAR IS MAKING WEIRD NOISES!
My car is making weird zap strap whining noises when i step on the gas from 1-4k rpms.. it also makes that noise too when i'm turning. Anyone have that problem before? I think it might be my pulleys because that's where the noise is coming from when I pop my hood to have a listen. My car is stock besides my injen cold air and I've set an appointment wid Honda already. Anyone have an idea what it might be?
haha sorry it's hard to explain the noise but its sounds like the noise that zapstraps make when u pull on them...only when i from 1-4k rpm
Okay lemme try again....its sounds sort of like a clicking noise usually when i'm stepping on the gas under 4k rpms and when i turn left or right. The noise also occurs when i downshift and there isn't any loss of power when i accelerate. Does that help?

I had this when I got a load of sticky tape caught up in a front wheel. Worth a look. It flaps off the arches and increases with speed.
BTW: Picture is great addition to the thread

-the speed you're going
-the gear you're in
-the amount and intensity of the turn
-the amount of throttle being used when you "step" on the gas
-what rpm are you starting from
But since you've already mentioned that it does this when you open the hood and listen, the fact that it does it when you are moving and turning makes no sense and is irrelevent.
It could be oil starvation, valve noise, timing chain tensioner, serpentine belt tensioner, an accessory pulley, heatshield rattle, bad engine mount, faulty secondary air injection system. I could do another 20 questions to narrow this down, but I shouldn't have to do that. It's kinda up to you to give as much detail to begin with. But since you haven't, it could still be the "floogal-meisner-fling thing".
Since you have an appointment with the dealer, let them sort it out.
