Default Help on front rotor removal.....

I am in the process of upgrading my suspension and brakes. Did the springs today and all went well. Rear rotors came off but the four screws were pretty tight. The front screws are on there but good (both sides)! Anyone have any hints? I have tried spraying the screw from the back side with WD-40. Do I need an impact wrench or heat? I so don't want to get a stripped screw head.

P.S. I tried the search angine and got too much stuff to sort through for the answer. Advanced search is not responding.

They are heat seized and some will come lose with a good impact. I have drilled a number out and if you are careful a new screw will thread in.. or some people leave out the screws.

they make a tool for this that is like a center punch with a p3 in it.

they have em at home depot. when you strike it with a hammer it spins the p3 bit . so you get the screw turned while putting pressure towards it too so t doesnt slip out.

EDIT

found it

A center punch can take them out, if a impact driver is unavailable. Strike the screw on the edge, and "walk" it out.
