Default Help identifying this part!

I just got my car, used, and well its got a couple of things done to it including some adjustable camber things, not plates. I also noticed they ghetto shoved and intake and cut off a hose that goes to a valve/solenoid. I would greatly appreciate if you could help me identify the part and where it should be connected to. Thanks a mil!
This is the valve, hanging from the intake

If you could point here on the engine bay where it goes

It mounts to the stock airbox, which you should get.

You are losing about 15hp running an air filter without the box.

Thanks for the response guys, unfortunately i dont have the stock box as i bought the car used. The genius before thought it was a good idea to cut the hose off. I'm receiving my K&N intake as we speak. Just wanted to see if i could see some picture where the original mount location is shown. Anything that allows me to connect the valve back. Would anyone happen to know the name of the valve? Thanks

Good question, I remember messing with this valve when I put my AEM v2 on but have no idea what it is actually for. Probably more emissions junk lol.

Most likely, i just want to make sure everything is in its place. If anyone finds any diagrams to the stock intake please post it. I have this odd stutter in my idle, which may be due to this, or maybe something else. Can you guys help out, what could this be. I dont get a CEL for this (misfire) sound. Thanks

Wow, that is ghetto. I've seen taking the top off the air box, but totally removing it letting the filter hang? lol. It just screws into the upper right of the air box.

I think lots of people have a slight stumble returning to idle sometimes. Seems to just be something with this car.

Well mine seems to be constant a idle. Inside the cabin this creates a slight vibration. Hard to diagnose without a CEL, im going to be replacing the spark plugs since the car has 80k and i don't really know when the last time they were change was. If anyone has any more info or similar symptoms please help out. Thanks
