Default Help with Key Fob programming

After changing the battery in my key fob it stoppped working. I did a search on the forums and found a few instructions which i tried and i couldn't get it to work at all. I called up the local honda dealer to see how much they charge and they said 50 bucks. I took it up there to them and they did the exact same programming process i did and they couldn't even get it to work. They said they dont know what is wrong and why the programming isn't working. They even tried their own fob and couldnt get it to work. The tech said that he need to run a diagnostic to find out what the issue is and will run me $120 just for the diagnostic then whatever cost it would take to repair the issue. I said the hell with that. Which brings me here. Has anyone ever experience this kind of issue? some people in the forums suggested checking the keyless entry fuse. I did that and everything is good. Before I pay honda $200 bucks just to get my keyless entry working i wanted to see if anyone can shed some light on this issue. Main issue is I can't get the fob in programming mode with the car. Neither could the people at honda

Hey mate, do u hear the door lock actuators engage on the 4th click?
U need to press "lock" to get in to program mode, followed by another 2 clicks.....

So basically as the instructions u have read but with one additional click.
